Celestún

For my grandmother Stennie's birthday, a bunch of my family traveled to one of her favorite places. Celestún, in the Yucatan in Mexico, where she has traveled many a time to see the variety of bird species there. A lot of my family had been before, but it was my first time going! We flew in to Merida, then Stennie's friend Alex took us to Celestún where we stayed right on the beach for a few days. We went on some birding excursions (of course) and also got to see a Mayan archaeological zone, Uxmal. Great birds, great people, and great history :).
